Democratis Jim Pashalidis

My name is Democratis Jim Pashalidis.  I am a first generation Greek-American.  Surrounded by a supportive and loving wife (Danielle), two responsible, hard-working sons (Rion and Alexandro), and our feisty dog (Wolf), I am a blessed man!  As an inner-city elementary educator in Rochester, NY for almost 20 years, I have enjoyed living my passion of helping children uncover their inner strength and value.

As I have continued in my career, I have found some “gaps” to feeling completely fulfilled with my career.  I have learned that to be able to assist others, I need to learn to value and care for myself first.  So, a few years ago, I created a fitness accountability group that helps other adults learn to care for themselves.  My rally cry is “Build You First”, which means that strengthening yourself, both physically and mentally allows you to provide more for those you love and care about.

This latest decision to become a Health Insurance Agent comes from my own experience with trying to assist my parents in maneuvering through the complex world of Medicare!  I was ill-prepared and had NO knowledge of which programs would be most beneficial for my parents.  This is where I reached out to a long-time friend and previous colleague, Hector Dessis, for guidance.  An agent from the company came to our home, simplified the process, and helped us make decisions that best fit our family’s situation.

Immediately, I thought of how valuable that agent was for my family and realized that if I could provide that support and guidance for others, it would help me fulfill my life’s purpose of providing value to others. 

I am eager to be of service and I will work diligently to help you and your loved ones navigate the Medicare process.
